Ultrasound


Description

The principle of therapeutic ultrasound is mechanical waves and the creation of heat deep inside in tissues. During the therapy, the micro-massage of tissues takes place, improving blood circulation and relaxing muscle spasms. Scars are softened and swelling is reduced. It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Therapeutic ultrasound is suitable for:

  • reduction of painful symptoms of the locomotor system
  • reducing muscle tension along the spine
  • accelerating the healing of injuries and post-operative states of the locomotor system
  • improving joint motility

Therapeutic ultrasound is not suitable for persons who are acutely and gravely ill, have a pacemaker, or are pregnant.
