Exercise is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.
Where else than at a spa can you combine
exercise with relaxation?
Exercise has always been a part of the spa stay
Golf, tennis, cycling, Nordic walking, inline skating, or water sports. You can try all that in and around our town. It is also one of the reasons why Františkovy Lázně is becoming more and more popular and sought-after not only by patients, but also by people who want to relax and recharge their energy. They can set out on routes of various lengths and difficulty levels that offer them unforgettable experiences and a great feeling of doing something good for their health. When you return from a sports outing, you will find enough space in Františkovy Lázně for relaxation or rehabilitation.
The pleasantly warm water in the swimming pools, whirlpools and on the toboggan of the Aquaforum – the world of water and relaxation – will caress your body and soul regardless of the whims of weather. Discover the amazing water world.
The Aquaforum offers you the unique opportunity to relax your mind and body. All that in four indoor and three outdoor pools with water attractions.
Do you remember the times when tennis players were clad in elegant white? Tennis has always belonged among typical spa sports activities that remain a symbol of elegance.
The tennis courts are located not far from the historical centre in the pleasant ambience of the western town park between Dlouhá Street and the tourist path leading from the Milano complex to Amerika Pond.
The multifunctional sports grounds for children and teenagers were built on the western edge of the town centre. The complex offers a skatepark meeting national standards, a multifunctional court for ball games, a traffic playground, a sled hill in winter, as well as two children's playgrounds (for children up to 5 years of age and from 5 to 12 years of age).
Golf has long been associated with our region just as the curative springs. This is where national history of the sport began to be written and where the region may boast the country's only royal golf course in Mariánské Lázně. You may find one golf course directly in Františkovy Lázně and 9 more within driving distance.
If you are not a golfer and just want to have fun, you can try Minigolf in the Imperial Hotel complex.
In Františkovy Lázně, you can walk or run on the traditional marked tourist routes or the so-called Heart Trails that will take you to interesting destinations in different spa parks. In addition to tourist purposes, the Heart Trails also serve as an outdoor therapeutic part of the spa treatment and are thus recommended to spa patients. All the Heart Trails start from the František Spring.
In addition to cycling on the "Heart" Cardio Trails and trips to the surroundings, you can follow the marked Route 36 (Bohemian Forest – Ore Mountains Cycle Route). Route 36 passes through one of the parks in Františkovy Lázně. You can reach it near Swan Pond (Labutí jezírko) or from the road between Glauber I and Glauber II Springs. The Salajna – Cheb – Františkovy Lázně – Seeberg – Luby section of Route 36 is approximately 58 kilometres long and offers a number of interesting places along the way.
