This church, primarily meant for the great number of spa guests hailing from the Protestant areas of Germany, was built by the constructor from Cheb, Karl Haberzettl, in 1875–1880. The building, originally built in the Neo-Romanesque style, was equipped only with a bell tower above the entrance portal. In 1926, a massive tower designed by Oskar Sgustav was added to the church.
