Remedial Exercise

Description

Group exercise of people with locomotor system or neurological system disorders, with bad movement habits and bad posture, under the supervision of a rehabilitation therapist. The exercise is focused on the afflicted or dysfunctional part of the body. During the therapy, the client learns to properly do each exercise, which they can then continue to do at home by themselves. Thanks to the individual approach, it is possible to better correct bad movement habits.

Individual remedial exercise is suitable for:

  • adjusting the pathological movement stereotypes of the client
  • correcting bad posture, stance, and walking.
  • learning the principles of the “Back School”, fixating the proper habits during various life situations.
  • in general, has good results in relieving pain and disorders of the locomotor system.

Individual remedial exercise is not suitable for the gravely and acutely ill and for pregnant women.
