Spring gas is separated from several of the mineral springs in Františkovy Lázně, which is used for pneumo punctures (gas injections) that relieve pain, improve blood circulation to the area of application, release muscle tension, and accelerate healing. The Carbon Gas Spa is located in the direct centre of town and was built around the Marie Spring - a dry sourcing of carbon dioxide. In the gas spa, the carbon dioxide is used for group dry baths of the lower extremities and for gynaecological dry sitz baths.
