SKATE THE BORDER - German-Czech skate project

Get ready for an adrenaline-fuelled action that will bring together young skateboarding, BMX biking and scooter riding enthusiasts from the Czech Republic and Germany!

What can you expect?

Show off your tricks: Show off your best riding skills and compete against others for interesting prizes.
Online competition: Take part in the online competition and show off your skills.
Street Dance: Dance on the skateboard court and enjoy great music.
Skate show: Professional skateboarders show off their skills.
DJ and graffiti: The atmosphere is created by DJs and graffiti artists.
Professional camera shots: Try your hand at recording your best jump on a skateboard, bike or scooter.
Interaction with professional writers: Meet professional artists and try out art with them.

11 a.m. Start and free riding

11.30 a.m. am Language animation

12.00 Introductory workshop film and editing

12.30  1st part contest: Show your trick

2 p.m. Graffiti workshop

4 p.m. Streetcrew Dance Performance Workshop

4.20 p.m. 2nd part of the contest: Game of sport

6 p.m. Award ceremony and graffiti presentation

7.30 p.m. End

All day: filming and editing support, support with sports for beginners, moderation, translation and description German-Czech, catering, DJ

The entire programme was prepared by the T1 Border Media Centre in cooperation with the town of Franzensbad. The event is supported by the Czech-German Future Fund and the Bavarian Youth Ring.

T1 offers not only Czech-German cross-border projects, but also interesting school projects in Czech and German (or in combination) on topics such as fake or fact, cyberbullying, school chat rules and artificial intelligence. Everything is taught in a playful way using digital technology.
