Petr Špaček releases new album Stronger. The concert for the new album as part of the Stronger tour will take place in Františkovy Lázně on March 19, 2025.
The new album, which was started almost a year ago, will feature the songs Shallow, Believer, Englishman in New York, Always Remember Us This Way, Tears in Heaven, I'm Not the Only One and many other hits. As the title Stronger suggests, the album moves towards a stronger sound - multiple layering of cellos and other new instruments and sounds.
The concert in Františkovy lázně will feature most of the songs from this new album, but listeners can also look forward to several new songs prepared especially for this tour.
Petr Špaček studied cello at one of the most prestigious American music universities - New England Conservatory in Boston. He won the Czech Radio International Competition and has performed as a soloist with leading Czech orchestras. In the last few years he has toured Europe, Asia, North and South America. His career took a new direction in September 2021, when he launched a successful solo career with a sold-out concert at Prague's Rudolfinum (after the break-up of the original Prague Cello Quartet, where he had been active for 15 years). Since then, Petr has won the hearts of a wide audience with his unique approach to music - combining cello playing with a witty and immediate performance.
