Czech saxophone quartet
The quartet consists of players who are proficient on all types of the most used saxophones. Their common motivation is not only a long-term interest in the saxophone, but also in playing in a chamber ensemble, supported by many years of experience in classical and jazz music. The ensemble was founded in 2003 by artistic director Roman Fojtíček, who also presents the saxophone in conjunction with piano or organ and has been a guest of many leading Czech symphony orchestras.
